Carl McIntire


Carl McIntire (1906-2002) was a Bible Presbyterian minister who founded the American and International Councils of Christian Churches. He hosted 'The Twentieth-Century Reformation Hour,' reaching 600 stations at its peak. He purchased WXUR in Media, PA, but lost its license due to Fairness Doctrine violations. He then moved the transmitter to the MV Oceanic, renaming it 'Radio Free America,' broadcasting from international waters off Cape May, NJ.
